DINFOS Hall of Fame

The Defense Information School (DINFOS) Hall of Fame honors distinguished alumni, living or deceased, who have made extraordinary and lasting contributions at the highest levels in public service, industry, the military or academia for at least 20 years. Nominees may come from the fields of public affairs, public relations, print journalism, photojournalism, broadcast journalism, visual information, photography, videography, multimedia, or broadcast maintenance engineering and other related fields.

Fuji Viper 25.3: MWSS-171 supports HMLA-169 with FARPS

U.S. Marines with Marine Wing Support Squadron 171, Marine Aircraft Group 12, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing conduct a forward arming and refueling point with aircraft from Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 169 as part of Fuji Viper 25.3 at Combined Arms Training Center Camp Fuji, Japan, June 9, 2025. 1st MAW supported 4th Marine Regiment’s execution of Fuji Viper 25.3 by providing combat assault transport and aerial escort, aerial delivery operations, and simulated close air support. Fuji Viper is a regularly scheduled training evolution that allows infantry units to maintain their lethality and proficiency in infantry and combined arms tactics.
