In addition to the resources on base, there is also plenty to do in the surrounding communities: visit the many historical sites of Annapolis, enjoy the harbor and Ft. McHenry in Baltimore, tour the White House and museums in Washington, D.C., visit the Eastern Shore for a trip to the beach and boardwalk, take in vistas and the outdoors of western Maryland,or take in a game of football, basketball, baseball, hockey, or soccer with one of the many professional or college teams in the Baltimore/D.C. area.
