DINFOS Hall of Fame

The Defense Information School (DINFOS) Hall of Fame honors distinguished alumni, living or deceased, who have made extraordinary and lasting contributions at the highest levels in public service, industry, the military or academia for at least 20 years. Nominees may come from the fields of public affairs, public relations, print journalism, photojournalism, broadcast journalism, visual information, photography, videography, multimedia, or broadcast maintenance engineering and other related fields.

U.S. Army Athletes compete in the sitting volleyball event for the Department of Defense Warrior Games on June 26, 2019 at the Tampa Convention Center. The DoD Warrior Games are conducted June 21- 30, hosted by Special Operations Command, Tampa, Florida. It is an adaptive sporting competition for wounded, ill and injured service members and veterans. Approximately 300 athletes representing teams from the U.S. Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Special Operations Command, United Kingdom Armed Forces, Australian Defence Forces, Canadian Armed Forces of the Netherlands, and Danish Armed Forces will compete in archery, cycling, shooting, sitting volleyball, swimming, track, field, wheelchair basketball, indoor rowing, powerlifting, and for the first time in Warrior Games history, golf, wheelchair tennis, and wheelchair rugby.
