Nov. 10, 2016 | 1:32
Meadows Elementary School on Fort Hood, Texas celebrated Veterans Day by having their "Adopt a Unit" (2-82 FA BN) have a parade through the hallways while the students cheered for them. Additionally, they participated in a Veterans Day celebration at their partner school in Madison, Alabama (Liberty Middle School) by singing a song and having students talk about what Veterans Day means to them and why it is important. All of this was done through a video teleconference.
