DINFOS Hall of Fame

The Defense Information School (DINFOS) Hall of Fame honors distinguished alumni, living or deceased, who have made extraordinary and lasting contributions at the highest levels in public service, industry, the military or academia for at least 20 years. Nominees may come from the fields of public affairs, public relations, print journalism, photojournalism, broadcast journalism, visual information, photography, videography, multimedia, or broadcast maintenance engineering and other related fields.

2024 Olympian, Sgt. Sagen Maddalena, Shout Out
U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit

U.S. Army Sgt. Sagen Maddalena, a Groveland, California native, will compete in the 2024 Paris Olympics. Maddalena will compete in both the Women's 10m Air Rifle and 50m Smallbore, or Three-Position Rifle events at the Games. The Soldier is a marksmanship instructor/competitive shooter with the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit's International Team located at Fort Moore, Georgia. This will be Maddalena's second Olympics in the Smallbore event, but her first in the air rifle event.
