DINFOS Hall of Fame

The Defense Information School (DINFOS) Hall of Fame honors distinguished alumni, living or deceased, who have made extraordinary and lasting contributions at the highest levels in public service, industry, the military or academia for at least 20 years. Nominees may come from the fields of public affairs, public relations, print journalism, photojournalism, broadcast journalism, visual information, photography, videography, multimedia, or broadcast maintenance engineering and other related fields.

Naval Museum hosts a re-enlistment ceremony
Hampton Roads Naval Museum

A recorded live-feed captured during a re-enlistment ceremony for BM2(SW) Lee Gibson, assigned to the Nimitz-Class Aircraft Carrier USS George Washington (CVN-73). The ceremony was hosted by the Hampton Roads Naval Museum, which is part of the Naval History and Heritage Command. The ceremony took place aboard the decommissioned Iowa-Class Battleship, USS Wisconsin (BB-63) with the iconic turret #1 as a backdrop. The ceremony was attended by members of her division and family.
