DINFOS Hall of Fame

The Defense Information School (DINFOS) Hall of Fame honors distinguished alumni, living or deceased, who have made extraordinary and lasting contributions at the highest levels in public service, industry, the military or academia for at least 20 years. Nominees may come from the fields of public affairs, public relations, print journalism, photojournalism, broadcast journalism, visual information, photography, videography, multimedia, or broadcast maintenance engineering and other related fields.

The U.S. Army Medical Command hosts the Army’s CSM Jack L. Clark Jr. Army Best Medic Competition at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington, Sept. 24-27, 2019.
Twenty-eight two-Soldier teams from around the world traveled to Washington state to compete in the finals to be named the Army's Best Medic. The competition if a 72-hour test of the teams' physical and mental skills in areas of physical fitness, tactical marksmanship, leadership, warrior skills and land navigation. Competitors must be agile, adaptive leaders who demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of medical, technical and tactical proficiencies through a series of hands-on tasks in a simulated operational environment.
