DINFOS Hall of Fame

The Defense Information School (DINFOS) Hall of Fame honors distinguished alumni, living or deceased, who have made extraordinary and lasting contributions at the highest levels in public service, industry, the military or academia for at least 20 years. Nominees may come from the fields of public affairs, public relations, print journalism, photojournalism, broadcast journalism, visual information, photography, videography, multimedia, or broadcast maintenance engineering and other related fields.

U.S. Army Soldiers assigned to I Corps, Joint Base Lewis McChord, compete in the Lacerda Cup All-Army Combatives Championship at Fort Benning, GA. April 8, 2025, as a part of the U.S. Army’s “Infantry Week”. Infantry Week 2025 consists of the Best Sniper, Best Ranger, Best Mortar and the Lacerda Cup Combatives Competitions. These events promote increased lethality and proficiency within the Department of Defense through elite-level competition and bring in the best of the best from around the world.
