DINFOS Hall of Fame

The Defense Information School (DINFOS) Hall of Fame honors distinguished alumni, living or deceased, who have made extraordinary and lasting contributions at the highest levels in public service, industry, the military or academia for at least 20 years. Nominees may come from the fields of public affairs, public relations, print journalism, photojournalism, broadcast journalism, visual information, photography, videography, multimedia, or broadcast maintenance engineering and other related fields.

U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Europe and Africa

Combat Engineers and Explosive Ordinance Disposal Marines with 3rd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment from the Black Sea Rotational Force conducted urban breaching with sappers and combat engineers with soldiers from the United Kingdom and Azerbaijain during Platinum Lion 2014 at Novo Selo Training Ground, Bulgaria. Platinum Lion includes U.S. Marines and sailors from 3rd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment and
3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, as well as soldiers from Bulgaria,
