DINFOS Hall of Fame

The Defense Information School (DINFOS) Hall of Fame honors distinguished alumni, living or deceased, who have made extraordinary and lasting contributions at the highest levels in public service, industry, the military or academia for at least 20 years. Nominees may come from the fields of public affairs, public relations, print journalism, photojournalism, broadcast journalism, visual information, photography, videography, multimedia, or broadcast maintenance engineering and other related fields.

Project Convergence 21 - Autonomous Systems & Artificial Intelligence

During Project Convergence 21, soldiers are experimenting with using autonomous systems and artificial intelligence to conduct target recognition. With both ground and air sensors working autonomously, the experiments work to synchronize joint fire support and decrease the sensor-to-shooter timeline.

Project Convergence is the Army's campaign of learning designed to aggressively advance and integrate our Army's contributions, based on a continuous structured series of demonstrations and experiments throughout the year. It ensures that the Army is part of the joint fight and can rapidly and continuously integrate or converge effects across all domains: air, land, sea, space, and cyberspace; to overmatch our adversaries in competition and conflict.

Project Convergence ensures the Army has the right people with the right systems, properly enabled in the right places to support the joint fight.
