DINFOS Hall of Fame

The Defense Information School (DINFOS) Hall of Fame honors distinguished alumni, living or deceased, who have made extraordinary and lasting contributions at the highest levels in public service, industry, the military or academia for at least 20 years. Nominees may come from the fields of public affairs, public relations, print journalism, photojournalism, broadcast journalism, visual information, photography, videography, multimedia, or broadcast maintenance engineering and other related fields.

U.S. Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 31, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, disembark the amphibious dock landing ship USS Comstock (LSD 45) aboard a U.S. Navy landing craft utility and landing craft, air cushion off the coast of Okinawa, Japan, July 29, 2024. The Marines and U.S. Navy Sailors worked together to enhance interoperability and strengthen ship-to-shore capabilities. The 31st MEU is operating aboard ships of the USS America Amphibious Ready Group in the 7th Fleet area of operations, the U.S. Navy’s largest forward-deployed numbered fleet, and routinely interacts and operates with allies and partners in preserving a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
