DINFOS Hall of Fame

The Defense Information School (DINFOS) Hall of Fame honors distinguished alumni, living or deceased, who have made extraordinary and lasting contributions at the highest levels in public service, industry, the military or academia for at least 20 years. Nominees may come from the fields of public affairs, public relations, print journalism, photojournalism, broadcast journalism, visual information, photography, videography, multimedia, or broadcast maintenance engineering and other related fields.

Reserve Marines with 1st and 3rd Battalion, 23rd Marine Regiment competing in the 2018 4th Marine Division Super Squad Competition, conduct a Battlesight Zero range at the Small Arms Complex on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Aug. 1, 2018. Every year Marine Forces Reserve hosts a Rifle Squad Competition that gives 4th Marine Division infantry regiments the opportunity to nominate their top rifle squads to be evaluated in offensive operations, defensive operations, patrolling techniques, combat marksmanship, physical endurance, and overall small unit leadership.
