DINFOS Hall of Fame

The Defense Information School (DINFOS) Hall of Fame honors distinguished alumni, living or deceased, who have made extraordinary and lasting contributions at the highest levels in public service, industry, the military or academia for at least 20 years. Nominees may come from the fields of public affairs, public relations, print journalism, photojournalism, broadcast journalism, visual information, photography, videography, multimedia, or broadcast maintenance engineering and other related fields.

Ohio State honors Guard members, veterans during annual military appreciation game

The Ohio State University honors Ohio National Guard members, other service members and veterans during their military appreciation game vs. Michigan State at Ohio Stadium in Columbus, Ohio, Nov. 11, 2023. The day’s events included a flag ceremony on the field before the game; Staff Sgt. Emily Thompson, the Ohio National Guard Airman of the Year, leading the Buckeyes onto the field carrying the America flag; and Maj. Gen. John C. Harris Jr., Ohio adjutant general, conducting the ceremonial coin toss before the game and administering the oath of enlistment to new OHNG members during halftime ceremony.
