The DINFOS Graduate Outcomes Performance Review (GO-PR) survey collects honest feedback from DINFOS graduates about their use of Mass Communication Foundations (MCF) and Public Affairs & Communication Strategy Qualification (PACS-Q) course training at their first duty assignments and their opinion of its efficacy. It consists of a course-specific survey, the results of which are used to continuously improve public affairs and mass communication training for the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, and Coast Guard. Participant responses are independently collected, analyzed, and reported by the Data and Assessments Office of the Defense Media Activity. Data collected from or about individual graduates is used only for research purposes and is not disclosed or used, in identifiable form, for any other purpose unless required by law. Study participation is voluntary.
Study participation is by invitation only. Participation in surveys is authorized by all Services during duty hours using government-furnished equipment. Graduates can also take the survey on personal equipment. Anonymized results are reported to DINFOS and the inter-Service Public Affairs Training and Education Council to validate and improve the MCF and PACS-Q courses for future students. Participants receive a short summary of the report findings.
The estimated time required to complete the survey is between 12 and 20 minutes, including the time to review instructions and complete the information collection. If you have any comments concerning the accuracy of the time estimate, suggestions for improving this research, or any comments or concerns regarding the status of your individual data, please write to the DINFOS Research Liaison, at go-pr@dinfos.edu or call her at (301) 677-3886.
