DINFOS Training Days supports the professional development of Department of Defense public affairs and visual information personnel. Evolving from previous events such as the Social Media Forum in 2021 - 2023 and the 60th Anniversary Alumni Day in 2024, the Training Days program supports the DOD mission of achieving an information advantage in today’s dynamic operational environments. 

DINFOS Training Days features advanced training sessions, interactive forums, expert-led lectures, and panel discussions tailored to address current and emerging trends in communication and media operations. It provides opportunities for participants to enhance their skills, explore new technologies, expand their professional networks, and access continuing education beyond their initial instruction.

The 2025 DINFOS Training Days will be held Sept. 10-11 with the theme “Achieving Information Advantage for Operational Success.” Both days will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will include eight breakout sessions focused on specialized topics in public affairs and visual information. All government communicators with base access are welcomed. There is no registration fee. 

In addition to the breakout sessions, three panel discussions are scheduled. The first will explore the impact of artificial intelligence on military communication, strategy and operations. The second will feature Defense Media Activity experts discussing DVIDS and its suite of media production and content delivery services. Third will be a discussion on what “Achieving Information Advantage for Operational Success” means. 

During breaks in between breakout sessions, guests are invited to visit the atrium tables hosted by the following participants:
