The American Council on Education (ACE) has recommended that graduates of the new Mass Communication Foundations course receive 18 college semester hours for completing the course. While this is only a recommendation for universities and colleges to consider, it is a significant stepping stone for DINFOS graduates who plan to pursue or complete college degrees during their service, or after they have transitioned from the military.
