There and back again, an astronaut's tale: NASA commander discusses his recent mission
NASA astronaut Timothy L. Kopra, a flight engineer for Expedition 46 and the mission commander for Expedition 47, participates in a photo op after sharing details of his recent mission to the International Space Station with faculty and students at the Defense Information School on Sept. 13, 2016. Kopra landed in Kazakhstan on June 18, 2016, and is now on a 180-day post-flight tour. NASA’s public affairs office coordinates events like the one at DINFOS so Kopra can share highlights of his experience in space with the public.
