There and back again, an astronaut's tale: NASA commander discusses his recent mission
NASA astronaut Timothy L. Kopra, a flight engineer for Expedition 46 and the mission commander for Expedition 47, details his experience on board the International Space Station to faculty and students at the Defense Information School on Sept. 13, 2016. Kopra’s visit to DINFOS is part of his 180-day post-flight tour as NASA participates in public outreach operations. After his 20-minute flight video, the faculty and students asked questions ranging from the smell of the space station to what riding on a rocket was like.
