Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, California, Glenn Stewart serves as the director of plans and technology for the Defense Information School (DINFOS), where he oversees the school’s technology products and services in support of its training mission.
Stewart began his career in September 1990 when he joined the U.S. Air Force, with assignments including the 1369th Combat Camera Detachment at Vandenberg Air Force Base, California; the Joint Analysis Center at RAF Molesworth, United Kingdom; the 1st Combat Camera Squadron at Charleston Air Force Base, South Carolina; and the Defense Information School at Fort Meade, Maryland, before retiring from the Air Force in 2010 after a distinguished 20-year career.
Following his military service, he returned to DINFOS as a training specialist managing the Basic Television Equipment Maintenance (BTVEM) and Broadcast Radio and Television Systems Maintenance (BRTSM) courses and was appointed assistant chief engineer in the Directorate of Plans and Technology in 2011. In July 2025, he assumed his current role as director of plans and technology.
He and his wife, Maureen, have two daughters: Veda and Jovie.
