Staff Sgt. Anthony Tyler has specialized in broadcast maintenance and communications equipment in the U.S. Army for the past 18 years. An instructor for Broadcast Radio and Television Systems Maintenance, he also enjoys playing various sports, listening to old school music, watching horror movies and cooking soul food. This Michigan native, shown here relaxing against a Cadillac, appreciates luxury cars and believes there is nothing like taking time to just relax and enjoy the environment. Chief Petty Officer Rhonda Booth has served in the U.S. Navy for the past 17 years as an interior communications electrician. The lead instructor for the Broadcast Radio and Television Maintenance Course, she also enjoys teaching aerobics, first aid/CPR and personal financial management seminars. Chief Booth is also a cosmetologist and conducts a bi-monthly mentoring group for young women at Philadelphia's Strawberry Mansion High School (her alma mater), which focuses on life choices through responsible decision-making and behavior. Award-winning photographer Steve Stibbens

Where is he now?

Freelance writer and award-winning photographer Steve Stibbens, now living in Dallas, was a U.S. Marine combat correspondent for Pacific Stars and Stripes (1972- 1964) and Leatherneck magazine (1964-1966) in Vietnam, as well as being a war correspondent there for the Associated Press (1967). He is the author of Knights over the Delta, the story of a legendary Cobra gunship platoon that spent nine years in Vietnam's Mekong Delta. Stibbens is shown here on patrol in the highlands in 1963. A retired Navy photographer's mate, JD Warmack repairs cameras at DINFOS' Directorate of Institutional Support. The Alexandria, Va. native, shown here in the 18th Century garb of a Scottish immigrant farmer, frequently participates in American Revolutionary re-enactments at Yorktown, Williamsburg and elsewhere. JD is a fan of "any film directed by John Ford" and approaches his duties at Defense Information School with the personal motto, "just another fun-filled day." Patrick C.G. Coulter

DINFOS ALUMNUS UPDATE

Patrick C.G. Coulter, shown lecturing at a senior officer seminar here in 2005, is vice president for communications and public affairs for Raytheon's Space and Airborne Systems. His earlier corporate public relations experience included planning and directing all internal and external communications activities for two of the largest business mergers in American history (Boeing-McDonnell Douglas and Bell Atlantic-NYNEX). An alumnus of California State University and USC (masters in public affairs), the DINFOS broadcasting and public affairs officer course grad is a retired Marine PA leader whose commissioned and enlisted service included Cuba, Vietnam, the Pentagon … and Hollywood, where he was technical advisor on "The Great Santini" and "An Officer and a Gentleman."
