The ink may fade, but the memories will not
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Sam Ponczak reflects on his return to Poland after the Holocaust during an interview on May 6, 2016, at the Library of Congress in Washington. Ponczak, a volunteer with the Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, and Grazyna Zebrowska, the president of the Polish Library in Washington, worked for the past year to preserve a collection of signatures given to the United States in thanks for its support of Poland during and after World War I.
